A 2-pipe Heat Pump system allows all connected indoor units to operate in either cooling or heating mode at the same time. A 3-pipe Heat Recovery system uses dedicated suction, discharge, and liquid lines with Branch Selector boxes, allowing one room to cool while another heats simultaneously—recovering waste heat from cooling zones to heat other zones with virtually zero extra power consumption.
How does fresh air ventilation (FAHU) coordinate with VRF indoor units? expand_more
VRF indoor units re-circulate room air. To comply with UAE indoor air quality codes (ASHRAE 62.1 and Estidama), outdoor ambient air is treated by a Dedicated Fresh Air Handling Unit (FAHU). The FAHU precools, filters, and dehumidifies 100% outside air and delivers it either directly to each room via dedicated diffusers or connects into the return air plenum of the VRF concealed fan coil.
